Kelsey Shaulis

Kelsey is a third year Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology and Demography at Pennsylvania State University. She holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received a dual title Master’s degree in Sociology and Demography from Pennsylvania State University in 2022. Using High School and Beyond data, her master’s thesis explored the relationship between educational expectation alignment and mental health among midlife women. Her research interests are focused on the relationship between education and disparities in midlife health outcomes with an emphasis on mental health.
